  • Adults: $80

  • Concession (Seniors/Juniors/Students): $60

  • Family: $100 (2 Family members, minimum 1 junior)

  • Each Additional Family Member (For Families with 3+): $50

  • Regional (Must live >40 km from the club): $30

  • GM/IM/FM/WGM/WIM/WFM: $40

Visitors

Visitors are welcome at the club! You don't have to sign up for a membership. We strongly recommend membership however!

Equipment

  • all chess equipment is provided

  • we have 4 DGT professional electronic streaming chess sets for our top boards so everyone can easily follow these games on the projector screen

  • DGT chess clocks 

Membership Eligibility

  • Membership is by online registration and currently open to all players 

  • Family memberships are for direct family, based on either two siblings or one parent and child. Please note the intention of this membership is to support families with children and therefore the membership must include a junior.

  • For family memberships of 3 or more each additional member will be $50. 

  • To be eligible for Non-Resident membership your main place of residence must be more than 40Km away from the club (based on Google's maps)

Code of Conduct

  • All members are expected to abide to the letter (and the spirit) of the GCCC Code of Conduct. Broadly speaking, the Club expects its members to contribute to a friendly and encouraging atmosphere in which we can all enjoy chess.

  • During games players are required to be as quiet as possible to ensure the best playing environment possible for those still playing their games.
